A non-ablative fractionated “min”i laser, Clear & Brilliant® is designed to enhance the quality of the skin by improving the tone, texture, and colour – a single treatment. It is for all skin types, whether tanned or not.
The procedure involves 2 distinct wavelengths: Perméa® (1927 nm), which is more superficial; and Clear and Brilliant® (1440 nm), which has a deeper reach and the decision to choose one over the other will depend on the needs of your skin.
Clear & Brilliant® generates subcutaneous micro-perforations to trigger the skin’s natural ability to heal and repair while stimulating the production of collagen and production of new skin cells.

Clear and Brilliant® uses longer wavelengths to treat deeper layers of the skin compared to Perméa®. It successfully tightens enlarged pores, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and enhances skin texture, tone, and complexion.
Clear and Brilliant® can be used as a standalone treatment or as a 4-session course of treatments.
Clear and Brilliant® and Perméa® have been recognized as gentle alternatives to fractionated lasers, like Fraxel® to refine skin texture, enhance skin tone, and minimize the visibility of sun spots, blemishes, and wrinkles.

What to Expect During a Session
Taking photographs
Photographs of you are taken before treatments so you can see the progress and results of your improvement.
Optional Anesthetic gel application for Clear and Brilliant® treatment
During your Clear and Brilliant® treatment, it is optional to numb by applying lidocaine anesthetic gel to minimize any discomfort. The gel is applied on clean skin and allowed to rest for about 20 minutes before treatment.
Being more superficial, the Perméa® treatment does not require the application of the anesthetic gel.
Cleansing and disinfecting the skin
Thoroughly eliminating any residue of gel, makeup, and lipid film is crucial prior to undergoing Clear and Brilliant® and Perméa® treatments. The skin is then disinfected with alcohol to establish a clean and sterile surface before the procedure begins.
Adequate eye protection
Wearing protective eyewear may be necessary to protect the eyes from light emission. Patients typically see flashes of light during the treatment. However, with the proper eye protection, your eyes are safe.
Start of treatment
The treatment commences by placing the applicator onto the skin and releasing energy onto the surface. The laser light on your skin may cause some discomfort. Normal sensations include feeling a heating effect and slight pinching.
Application of adapted products
A thin layer of a post treatment serum is to accelerate healing. For proper skin recovery, post-treatment recommendations must be strictly followed.

Maintenance Treatment
It is crucial to provide sufficient sun protection to the treated area for 6 months after the procedure.
Clear and Brilliant® and Perméa® treatments deliver noticeable results. The sessions are conducted in a series, each treatment spaced 4 weeks apart, for the gradual realization of the desired texture and complexion. The results of the treatment are progressive: the skin will be softer and more radiant within one to two weeks.
Contraindications
The treatment should be delayed for:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Individuals who have received Accutane treatment in the past 6 months
Patients exposed to the sun without adequate sun protection within 4 weeks before the scheduled treatment date will not be treated.
