Ultherapy™ Non Surgical
Skin Lifting

Toronto Nurse answers What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy™ in Toronto is the only non invasive treatment cleared by the FDA & Health Canada for skin lifting.  Treatment areas include loose or sagging skin on the chin, along the jaw line, neck, brow and decolte.  This  non-surgical face lift therapy utilizes intense focused ultrasound and is the same ultrasound technology that has been safely used for over 60 years for medical imaging.

According to clinical studies, Ultherapy improves the skin from the deepest layers to help lift and tighten skin.  Fine lines are reduced, Skin laxity improved and collagen is restored.

Without harming the outer layer of the skin Ultherapy™ penetrates deeply below the surface for firming, lifting, and tightening the skin.

What are the benefits of Ultherapy?

  • Helps Lift and Tigten Skin.
  • Can Restore & Rejuvenate collagen.
  • Non-invaasive, requiring no downtime.
  • Safe & FDA, Health Canada approved
  • Award Winning Treatments.

Does Ultherapy hurt – Is Ultherapy pain free?

Most patients don’t experience pain, especially when treated by Nurse & Medical Aesthetic expert, Chantal Ward. While some may inquire about pain killers or even gas, they quickly learn this is completely unnecessary.  Post treatment, Most liken the experience to a gentle “sparkling” sensation – some have even described Ultherapy to be similar to the micro-explosions of “pop rocks” candies.

How does Ultherapy Skin Tightening work?

Intense focused ultrasound penetrates deeply within the facial tissues producing energy and heat at a precise depth. Ultherapy™ enables the sound waves to be directed not only into the skin but deep under the skin to the same tissues that are addressed during a surgical face life. Gentle heat to the tissue lifts and tightens loose skin without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. Besides the visible effects of lifting and tightening, there is also an invisible result from Ultherapy™ with the creation of new collagen, which helps the skin maintain its youthfulness.

Can Ultherapy™ be used on all areas?

Ultherapy™ can be used anywhere on the face and neck. A full facial treatment is most effective.
However, treatments can be focused targeting lift to the brow, tighten the neck or smooth the jawline/chin areas.
Results are noticeable by others as Ultherapy™ will lift the brow, in turn reducing the excess skin on the lids. Eyes open up giving a more refreshed appearance. Neck and Jawline are tightened, naturally restoring definition and restoring one’s appearance of years past.
