Exfoliating removes dead cells and enhances blood circulation for clearer, more vi-brant skin. Use a mild chemical exfoliant, like a glycolic peel, for brightening and to slough dead skin. Do this at least once every week (but no more than twice a week).
Apply sunscreen daily.
Sun exposure can lead to hyper-pigmentation, premature wrinkling, and skin cancer, making sunscreen essential. For optimal protection, protect your face and body with a high SPF (at least 30) and broad spectrum UVA and UVB. Use it every day, and apply 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every two hours outdoors.
Revitalize skin with anti-aging serums.
High-powered serums containing either organic ingredients or cellular activators like EGF, IL-1a, and KGF are effective skin brighteners. These serums can minimize the appearance of skin pigmentation. Retinoids or retinol enhance collagen production to promote plump, wrinkle-free skin.
